Manual capture of parking violations was slow and error-prone.

Lead developer of the desktop app and camera/printer integration.
Solution & architecture
License-plate recognition from cameras (ANPR, RTSP/FFmpeg), thermal receipt printing, Electron desktop client. The fines process was automated.

- On-the-spot receipt printing (thermal)
What I learned
When working with hardware (camera, printer), reliability and error handling are the biggest part of the software.
